Fire management experiment for the declining Partridge Pigeon, Kakadu National Park

Fraser F., Lawson V., Morrison S. Christophersen P., McGreggor S. and Rawlinson M. (2003), "Fire management experiment for the declining Partridge Pigeon, Kakadu National Park", Ecological Management and Restoration, 4, pp. 94 - 102.

Research at Kakadu National Park has indicated that changing fire regimes and grazing by buffaloes has led to the decline of the Partridge Pidgeon. This study aimed to identify the extent that fire influences species numbers and its habitat, and what management techniques can be used to protect the habitat of the Partridge Pidgeon.
